In 2024, sadly, Karina’s Mum and brother passed away. Soon after the tangihana, she began planning for the hura kōhatu and noticed that there were limited options available locally in the mid-north. Exploring the industry, engaging with manufacturers in China, India and Australia. It was not long before we discovered that the benefits outweighed the disadvantages regarding technology, product availability, design, and, most importantly, the ability to provide customer service.
