Kōhatu Memorials will immediately place an order with its supplier to commence work. Please allow three to five months for delivery, but in most cases, it can arrive sooner.

Etching involves creating a design by indenting the granite stone. It has a beautiful, subtle, natural, and resilient finish that lasts longer.

Gold lettering is applied using thin sheets of gold to the surface of the granite.

White and Silver are painted, which can fade over some time due to weather elements.

Kōhatu Memorials will charge $45 monthly if the headstone is not collected within the agreed timeframe.

Kōhatu Memorials will usually provide a colour chart or sample of the granite stone before entering a signed agreement. Both parties must be clear about the selection.

Granite's colour can vary depending on where it is mined. No two colours are an exact match unless they are black and polished. Please expect a slight variance in shade colour. Kōhatu Memorials is dedicated to ensuring you receive the expected shade.

If the headstone you received is not the correct colour, please contact us immediately. Depending on the circumstances, we will review your order and work with you to find a suitable solution, including a replacement or a refund.

Kōhatu Memorials offer a maximum of 18 months from the signing of the agreement to delivery. Outside this arrangement will incur a $45 storage fee.
